Bishop Auckland table tennis club are running a TRY table tennis course for beginners as a path back into the sport or an introduction to the sport of table tennis. As part of the Move into Sport programme which aims to get local people active through sport, tailored for those who may not be active enough, overweight or at risk of cardiovascular disease and Type 2 diabetes.
Under the guidance of the clubs English Table Tennis Association qualified CRB checked coaches, learn the basics and move on to try and master the sport at Durham Junior Sports club of the year 2013
All equipment will be provided and the cost is just £2 per session. The sessions start on Wednesday 15th January, 7.30-8.30pm and will last for 12 weeks. Courses are at Bishop Barrington Sports Hall, Bishop Barrington School, Woodhouse Lane, Bishop Auckland, County Durham, DL14 6LA.
Those who complete the course will receive 50% off the cost of annual club membership and a FREE table tennis bat.
