Going into the second set of matches in the National Junior League the Bishop Auckland A team were sat 12 points clear at the top but Northumbria had a game in hand in second place. The first round saw the Bishop team have a bye while Northumbria played their game in hand which they duly won 9-0 to take the gap to 3 points. Bishop first match saw the team come away 7-2 winners over Darlington Academy A while Northumbria had a bye, which restored the lead to 10 points. Ormesby A was next with the team again coming away 7-2 winners while Northumbria only won 6-3 over Darlington A to see the lead increased to 11 points, the final round saw Bishop A of Ben Mold, Matthew Pearson and Alex Robinson come away 9-0 winners over Ormesby B while Northumbria overcame Ormesby A 6-3 to see the Bishop team increased their lead to 14 points.
